Motions were filed by Brooks, Inc. and the City of Memphis to dismiss the suit filed by Friends for Our Riverfront to protect the land along the Memphis riverfront and the easement on it for the specified use as a Public Promenade.
Brooks, Inc. withdrew their motion.
On Feb. 28, Chancellor Melanie Taylor Jefferson heard and denied the City's motion concerning the easement and use of the land.
